She specializes in strengthening internal controls, ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance, and identifying the operational efficiencies that allow dental practices to thrive. Yasmine’s career is rooted in the "gold standard" of auditing. She began at Deloitte & Touche LLP, managing complex financial statements for Fortune 500 companies. She later transitioned into the healthcare and academic sectors, serving as Manager of Financial Reporting at Columbia University and Audit Manager for Financial Operations Compliance at Mayo Clinic.
Certified Public Accountant and MBA graduate, Yasmine is known for her analytical expertise, leadership, and ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights that support executive decision-making.
At our firm, Yasmine applies this "Big Four" and healthcare-specific expertise to the dental industry. Magdalena Mencia, MBA, is a financial advisor with over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial management, and strategic advisory services. As Co-Founder of M&R Financial Solutions and a Financial Advisor with MDent, she has helped support the launch and financial structuring of hundreds of dental offices across the United States.
Her background spans public accounting, nonprofit financial leadership, and institutional finance, including financial management roles at Columbia University. Magdalena combines this experience with deep knowledge of dental practice operations to help dentists strengthen profitability, improve financial visibility, and build long-term enterprise value.
